Massage can help prevent injuries and keep your horse healthy and comfortable!  Allow your horse to perform at their best through the healing elements of massage therapy.  Stretching and tendon/ligament work are included with massages.

RAINDROP THERAPY

A combination of 100% natural Young Living essential oils strategically placed and massaged along the body of the horse.  It brings harmony and balance to the body by combining targeted massage and distinctive energy approaches.  It can help horses who suffer from a multitude of issues; from heaves to muscle spasms.

THERAPLATE

The TheraPlate is a form of therapy which utilizes vortex waves to increase circulation throughout the animal's entire body.  This allows the body to heal faster and more efficiently.  It soothes sore muscles and is relaxing.  TheraPlate sessions are specific to the problem being targeted.  

KINESIO TAPING

Taping is done to any area suffering from pain, inflammation, or soreness.  It allows for proper tissue movement and fluid to move out of swollen areas.  It alleviates pain associated with nerve endings and much more!

ADULT CHIROPRACTIC

ABOUT
DR. KAYLA & HEALTHY GAIT

Healthy Gait began in 2016 after Dr. Kayla received her Equine Massage Certification through Therasage.  Her business quickly grew as she added in massage for other livestock species and more therapeutic modalities.  Dr. Kayla earned her Master Equine Massage Certification in 2017 from Therasage.

Dr. Kayla graduated from the University of Wisconsin-River Falls in May 2018 with a degree in Animal Science- Equine Management Emphasis. She went on to pursue her dreams of becoming a Doctor of Chiropractic and graduated from Parker University in December 2022.  Dr. Kayla is a licensed Chiropractor in Texas and Wisconsin.

 

In December 2021, Dr. Kayla finished her Animal Chiropractic Education through the A.C.E.S program.  She spent over 240 hours studying alongside fellow Chiropractors and Veterinarians, developing the skills to provide the best Chiropractic care to animals.  In September 2022, Dr. Kayla took and passed her exam to become certified in Animal Chiropractic through the American Veterinary Chiropractic Association (AVCA).

The Healthy Gait office location opened in February 2023 in Pilot Point, TX.  Here, Dr. Kayla is able to see both human and small animal patients.  She continues to see large animals through her mobile service.  Her goal is to provide high-quality care to any person or animal who crosses her path!  Dr. Kayla looks forward to working with your or your animals soon!
